    • This website shows the history of autism treatment.  From the year of 1911, where the term “autism” was used to describe schizophrenia.  Then the latest news in 2013, where these disorders were classified in DSM-V. The website then goes into more detail and describes a large variety of treatment approaches.
  • How Does Behavioral Learning Benefit Children with Autism?
    • This website explains how behavioral learning can benefit children that are described as having autism.  There is also a section talking about the strategies and qualifications needed to teach behavioral learning to children.
  • Understanding Behavioral Therapy for Autism
    • This website shows the different types of therapy that can be used that fall under behavioral therapy.  The two major ones include Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). The best way to see what therapy is best for a specific child is through trial and error.
  • Behaviorist Approaches to Autism
    • This website explains why the behaviorist approach is the best way to work with children with autism.  It goes into details about how Dr. O. Ivar Lovaas went about coming up with these ideas.
  • Isn’t Behaviorism Dead?
    • This website talks about how some people think that the behaviorism methods are not being used that much anymore.  The thing that is being used more are the behavior analysis approaches. The author goes on to talk about his experiences.
